Food is the origin of all medicines. In 1991 my daughter was diagnosed with childhood leukemia. The treatment at that time was chemotherapy. My training existed as a Clinical Psychologist, Doctor of Traditional Asian Medicines and a Primary Health Care Provider. Faced with the prospect of losing my daughter, I searched the world for treatments in cultures around the world. As a result, I developed a treatment program for her based on classical medicinal approaches from Asia and Hawaii then reinforced each treatment with a form of medical macrobiotics that I developed using specific whole foods to place her in remission. Over time, I documented and published my program then introduced my program to my patients and saw dramatic improvements with their health. Inspiration For Health is based on personal experiences with my family and my patients.

In 1987 i became a Doctor of Traditional Asain Medicine and a Primary Health Care provider. I had already held a degree in clinical psychology. In 1989 I gave birth to a beautiful daughter who changed my life and rearranged my world. In treating her leukemia I began to understand the patterning of a disease process.With the assistance of my son I was able to develope a program based on the concept that "Certain Foods Heal". My work has been documented with delagates from the United Nations, teaching hospitals in the United States: Mayo Clinic, Arizona (thalmasea minor), Cedar Sinai, Beverly Hills ( prostate cancer), California, Queens Hospital, Honolulu, Hawaii ( delivered the first child with acupuncture for the state). The credit I give to my children and patients and healthy eating.
