Rayne and the Yellow Dress was created to provide a pathway for parents and educators to

discuss topics of colorism, hair texture, and body image with children within the minority

community. The vision for Rayne and the Yellow Dress is to enlighten women and girls on ways

to gain total acceptance of self.
