Jules Howard (consultant) is a zoologist and conservationist. He writes for BBC Wildlife Magazine and The Guardian and appears regularly on TV and radio, including BBC Radio 4's The Living World. He has also chaired live events at science festivals. He lives in Northamptonshire, UK. Marc Pattenden is a self-taught illustrator from Lewes, in the UK. He works digitally with the aim of creating colorful engaging work, full of texture and atmosphere.
