About the Author


Elo Adhekpukoli attended the University of Lagos, the Nigerian Law School and the Redeemers International Leadership Academy, where he obtained various academic degrees in law and leadership. Elo specializes in energy law, dispute resolution, corporate transactions and restructuring. Elo has worked at SimmonsCooper Partners for close to four years and has demonstrated ability to advise individuals, corporate organizations and governments negotiate complex transactions. Elo has also demonstrated ability to conduct due diligence and monitor compliance with contractual terms and regulatory requirements. Elo has participated in several essay competitions on socio-political and economic issues in Nigeria and won awards from the Nigerian Stock Exchange and the Nigerian Conservation Foundation. Elo has published articles on taxation and fiscal federalism in Nigeria, and the potential effects of the Petroleum Industry Bill 2012 on existing and future business arrangements in Nigeria. Elo is the Founder of Penulo Research & Development Foundation, a non-profit, non-governmental organization that encourages research and awareness in economic, social, agricultural, environmental and scientific issues affecting Nigeria and sub-Saharan African countries.
