As a grandfather to nine, the author had read many books about colors to toddlers and young children. He found them uninspired. There is so much artistic form and color in this world: cartoon drawings just can not compete. He started with Parrot Colors, went on to Flower Colors, and is now celebrating natural color with Space Colors.

David E. McAdams is the father of eight children, and grandfather of nine and counting. He thoroughly enjoys his grandchildren and likes to spend time reading to them. His main hobby is mathematics, and he has written several children's books on this subject. Space Colors is a short side-trip into the wonderful world of natural color.
