In the African homelands, throughout the villages, stories are passed on from family kraal to family kraal. One story held true for years. It was the story of how a King named Jesus came to Thabo's village and changed everything. Come join Joshua and his father as they journey through the villages, searching for Thabo. Children will learn some of the N. Pedi language as they read and look through the glossary provided. Activity suggestions are included to help aid children in understanding the message of Jesus' love, power and salvation.

Laurie L. Ferris served on the ship M.V. Doulos, a ministry of Operation Mobilization, traveling port to port distributing literary, medical and educational books. Directly following her service on the M.V. Doulos, Laurie answered the call to go to the Republic of South Africa with CASA Ministries. South Africa has always been her passion, and she was blessed to serve there as Director of Children's Ministry for four years. Upon returning to the United States, Laurie continued serving in the church as a children's pastor and minister of the Gospel. Laurie currently has a blog Hishearttoyours.com with inspirational devotionals and videos drawing from both her mission's experiences and everyday life lessons. Her desire is to see children and adults become intimate with their Savior. Laurie has also written three other books-Lessons Along the Way and Soul Piercing and Consider His Heart.
