About the Author
Alan Pilkington was born in a small Australian country town. He became Chairman of one of the most respected advertising agencies in Chicago, and board chair of a leading D.C. based wildlife conservation group, which spearheaded the reintroduction of the timber wolf to Yellowstone National Park. He now lives in Seattle with his three bird dogs. A writer and poet, he is an active environmentalist, outdoorsman and fly fisherman.
