Description

Blue is a haunting memoir that delves into the fragile nature of memory and the complexities of depression.

Through a series of powerful meditations on the color blue, Blue explores the ways in which we hold onto our past and the ways in which it eludes us. With unflinching honesty and a poet's eye for detail, Peralta documents her journey through the depths of her own consciousness, seeking to uncover the truth about memory and the ways in which it shapes our lives. Along the way, she confronts the specter of depression, a constant companion in her search for meaning and clarity. At once a profound meditation on the role of writing in preserving our pasts and a stark warning about the fleeting nature of memory, Blue is a powerful and poignant testament to the enduring human spirit.
