The text is an excerpt from the book "Statistical inference is no longer a problem" and was designed as an aid in preparing for academic exams of Statistics and Statistical Inference, especially in those degree programs where statistics do not it is a characterizing discipline; it can also be of help in degree courses in which the matter is dealt with more solidly.
The book provides, for its consultation, a preparatory knowledge of fundamental principles and techniques of descriptive statistics.
